Dale Eastley - Chief Executive OfficerDale is a Tasmanian who was born at Queenstown and comes to MS Tasmania from a varied career but with a substantial portion of it centering on delivering high quality services to customers and clients. He started his working life with Australia Post and was there for 13 years and left in 1979 as Senior Field Manager responsible for the management of all Post Offices in Southern Tasmania. Joined the Hydro Electric Commission and was part of the Commissioner’s business performance review staff and subsequently worked in management positions in Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Commercial Services and subsequently joined Aurora Energy with responsibility for Account Management for Major Electricity customers and finally major change management projects to position the company for competition. In 1998 he undertook the Company Directors Course to add to his administration and accounting qualifications and it was at this time that he became involved in Aged Care initially as a Board member, including Deputy Chair and Chair and subsequently as a CEO. During the past ten years he has oversighted significant change in the management and growth of Aged Care at both Uniting Aged Care and One Care Ltd. He learnt a lot about the delivery of quality services within a not for profit environment and has focused on the need to constantly develop an organisation that is sustainable from both service delivery and financial aspects. He comes to MS Tas at an exciting time when the finalisation of the outcomes of the Productivity Commission are becoming clearer and there will be opportunities for the organisation to consider new ways of continuing to develop a sustainable organisation which provides relevant services to its clients. Dale is married and has one son who is starting to progress in his chosen field of electronics. |
