Counselling
Living with Multiple Sclerosis can be difficult for the person living with MS, and family, friends and carers. There may be feelings of frustration, confusion and anxiety about the future – this can be a natural part of living with MS but people affected can seek help and support.
An MS Counsellor can talk about important life issues such as:
- Relationship and family issues
- Changing roles and responsibilities
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Loss and grief
- Sexuality and intimacy
- Parenting with MS
Counselling can occur in a way that best suits the person – face to face, in your home or at MS Society offices; via phone or email, or in a group session where available.
